Atlantic County Health Department Friday, Jan. 8 announced the deaths of three more people from COVID-19, including a 68-year-old Margate woman. Her passing brings the total death count in Margate to four.

Other fatalities include an 81-year-old Atlantic City man and a 76-year-old Egg Harbor Township woman. All had pre-existing conditions.

The county also announced 246 new COVID-19 positives among 121 males, ages 1-84, and 125 females, ages 2-91, bringing the total number of positives to date to 15,632, with 378 deaths and 6,813 reported as recovered.

Drive through COVID-19 testing will resume Tuesday, Jan. 12 at the county’s Public Works yard 617 Dolphin Road, Northfield, by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling 1-888-285-2684.
