Surfrider volunteers cleaned up Wellington Avenue in Ventnor on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019.

VENTNOR – Sustainable Downbeach is collaborating with the Great Egg Harbor River Watershed Ambassador program and Atlantic County Utilities Authority on a community cleanup along Wellington Avenue as part of the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.

The cleanup will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 on Wellington Avenue. Volunteers will meet at the Ventnor Plaza shopping center for check-in.

Mask wearing is mandatory to participate. Volunteers will receive a neon yellow T-shirt for protection and identification, along with trash bags, grabbers and gloves.
