Atlantic County Health Department Sunday, Jan. 24 reported 406 new COVID-19 positives and 11 new deaths, including a 69-year-old Margate woman and an 83-year-old Ventnor man.

The other deaths included five Galloway Township residents – two women ages 85 and 47, and three men ages 83, 78 and 74; three Atlantic City men, two 68-year-olds and a 55-year-old; and an 83-year-old Buena Borough man. Two of the 11 were residents of long-term care facilities and all but three had pre-existing conditions.

Positives were reported in 181 males, ages 2 months to 95 and 225 females, ages 8 months to 99. Today’s new positives bring the total number of COVID-19 cases to 18,439, with 7,513 reported as recovered and 438 deaths.
