Atlantic County Health Department Tuesday, Feb. 9 reported six new deaths in an 85-year-old Egg Harbor City woman; two Egg Harbor Township residents – an 81-year-old woman and an 83-year-old man; two Galloway Township residents – a 76-year-old man and an 84-year-old man from a long-term care facility; and a 75-year-old Margate man.

The county also reported 123 new COVID-19 positives in 47 males, ages 2-89, and 76 females, ages 2-87.

Since Feb. 1, there have been 528 new positives and 37 deaths. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 20,329 people diagnosed with the virus and 502 deaths.

Weekly COVID-19 drive-thru testing is offered 9-11:30 a.m. each Tuesday until further notice at the county’s Public Works yard, 617 Dolphin Ave. Appointments can be made by calling 1-888-285-2684 or online at https://booknow-atlco.appointment-plus.com/b8nr4gd8/. Testing at the Galloway Township library branch of the Atlantic County Library System has been extended through Thursday, Feb. 11.
