Registered Nurse Wendy Razzi of Galloway Township.

SOMERS POINT – Shore Medical Center recognized RN Wendy Razzi of the Telemetry Unit as its April Guardian Angel of the Month. Razzi was recognized for providing passionate and exceptional care to Shore’s patients.

The Guardian Angel program was established to enable members of the community to say thank you to a special Shore caregiver through a donation to the medical center.

Razzi has been with the Telemetry Unit since joining the Shore Medical Center team in 2015. According to Telemetry Nurse Manager Luanne McGroarty, Razzi is reliable and able to function both as a staff nurse and in the role as the charge nurse. McGroarty added that Razzi is a patient advocate who relates well to her patients as well as their families. Caring and compassionate, Razzi is a consummate team player. Her unit team members look to her for assistance and for her to be the voice of the unit.

“I feel as though Wendy went above and beyond her normal duties by assisting me,” said a Shore patient who made a Guardian Angel donation in her honor. “I am so grateful for the wonderful care and compassion she provided me. Wendy is definitely a great asset to Shore.”

When not working, Razzi, a resident of Galloway Township, loves spending time with her family, cheering for the Eagles, spending the day on the beach and babysitting her granddaughter.

Shore Medical Center’s Guardian Angel program recognizes anyone who works at Shore Medical Center and makes an impact and difference in your care or experience. Guardian Angels are recognized amongst their peers and are presented with a special Guardian Angel pin at Shore Medical Center’s annual pinning ceremony.
