MARGATE – A ribbon cutting Sunday, May 23 opened flounder season in Margate and the inaugural launch of the It was sunshine, crusin’ and celebrating at the ribbon cutting announcing the inaugural launch of Crusin’ Tiki at Ray Scott’s Dock.

Margate Mayor Michael Becker was on hand to officially cut the ribbon, while the dock filled with those cheering the launch of the recreational tiki boat. Music was provided by DJTracy Jones of DJ Crazy Trane.

The tiki boat has morning, afternoon and sunset daily cruises that hold six people that can provide their own libations. The tiki boat is dog friendly and bluetooth enabled so guests can play music right from their phone.
