ATLANTIC CITY – The Miss New Jersey Education Foundation will hold its annual scholarship competition Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 17-19 at the Superstar Theater in Resorts Casino Hotel. Preliminary competitions will be held 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, with the final competition at 8 p.m. on Saturday. An after party will also be held following the crowning of Miss New Jersey 2021.

The event will celebrate the Miss America Competition, which was first held in Atlantic City 100 years ago. When Miss America was founded, its goal was to invest in the careers and lives of women. In addition to receiving scholarships to advance their education, the winner will be responsible for positively advancing the goals and objectives of Miss New Jersey, including her own social impact initiative.
