MAYS LANDING – On June 3, while traveling on the Atlantic City Expressway Atlantic County Sheriff’s Detectives Jason Plagman, William Schellhas and Jordan Corona came upon a motor vehicle accident with injuries.
According to a release from Undersheriff Richard Komar, they notified dispatch to make contact the NJ State Police and emergency medical personnel. The detectives then secured the scene and checked for injuries.
Plagman found a victim with a severe bleed from the knee area. He applied a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. State Police arrived and took over the scene.
The victim was transported by Emergency Medical Personnel to the emergency room for treatment.
