VENTNOR – Based on the latest tracking of Tropical Storm Elsa, the Ventnor City Farmers Market is adjusting its market hours for Friday, July 9.
Forecasts predict Elsa will pass the Downbeach area Friday morning and be nice in the afternoon, so market hours were changed to 12:30-4 p.m. this Friday only.
Market Manager Andy Starer said nearly all the market’s 60 vendors approved the time change.
“We’re not going to let a little storm get in the way of our fabulous market,” Market Manager Andy Starer said.
The market is located in the parking lot at St. James Church, Atlantic and Newport avenues.
