The US National Weather Service has posted a tropical storm warning for all of coastal New Jersey through Friday morning. Heavy rain fall is expected potentially leading to areas of flash flooding, in addition to tropical storm force winds across coastal areas. Increased swells and rip currents may be possible today through Friday.

Please take precautions:

  • Move vehicles to higher ground.
  • Secure lawn furniture, small items and trashcans.
  • Report power outages to Atlantic City Electric at 1-800-833-7476.
  • Call your local police department or 911 for emergencies only.
  • Increased rip currents and and swells are expected. Avoid swimming or beach activities.
