Effective, Friday, July 9, State Route 152 (Somers Point-Longport Boulevard) will be closed until further notice, between Bay Avenue in Somers Point and Ocean Drive in Longport, due to downed poles and storm damage from Tropical Storm Elsa. Repairs are expected to be lengthy as line workers replace six downed utility poles.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and plan travel time accordingly.
