VENTNOR – The North Beach Ventnor Residents Association has canceled its annual “Porch Party” for the second year in a row due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event was due to be held on July 31.
“After careful thought and discussion, and in consideration of the safety of our community in light of the recent increase in the COVID Delta variant, we are postponing the Porch Party at this time,” members were advised via email.
Organizers said they would reassess the situation in August to see if the community get-together could be held at a later date.
The group is moving ahead with its plan to hold its “Subs on a Tub” sunset cruise on Sept. 25. Tickets will be available this weekend on the group’s website but capacity is limited.
