Grace period to pay third quarter taxes extended to September in Margate.
MARGATE – Due to a delay in receiving a certified 2021 tax rate from the Atlantic County Board of Taxation, the city tax collector is advising property owners that the mailing of tax bills will also be delayed.
Tax bills will not be mailed until the middle of August, although third quarter taxes are due Aug. 1.
Therefore, the grace period for third quarter taxes will be extended into September. The exact dates will be established by the Board of Commissioners and publicized in accordance with state statutes.
