The Longport Historical Society will host its annual concert 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7 in the gazebo area behind Longport Borough Hall, 2305 Atlantic Ave. in Longport.
The concert features a group of musicians from several Philadelphia Mummers bands playing traditional Mummers music.
Last year’s event was cancelled due to COVID-19. The Mummers performed their first concert in Longport in 2019. In prior years, the concert featured the South Jersey Irish Ceili band led by Longport resident Michael Garvin who passed away in 2020.
The concert is free and the public is invited to attend.
