Provided/The Arc of Atlantic County celebrated a successful golf event Oct. 22, 2020, with proceeds of $90,000 raised during the I. Rice & Co. Presents: The Arc of Atlantic County Pro-Am Golf Tournament. 

    GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP –The Arc of Atlantic County has announced the I. Rice & Company Presents: The Arc of Atlantic County Golf Pro-Am Tournament will be held Thursday, Oct. 21 at the Galloway National Golf Club. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with a scramble format.

    Now in its fourth year, The Arc of Atlantic County Pro-Am Golf Tournament pairs professional golfers from area golf clubs with amateur golfers, competing for a prize purse of $11,000, one of the highest pro-am prize purses in New Jersey.

    More than 150 golfers are expected to participate in this fundraising golf tournament to provide much needed resources to support the work of The Arc of Atlantic County. Proceeds will directly benefit areas of client and family support, recreation, vocational and educational opportunities for local people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

    Prizes include: first prize, foursome of Golf at Galloway National Golf Club and an overnight stay with dining credit at area resort; second prize, foursome of Golf at Galloway National Golf Club; third prize, foursome of Golf at Greate Bay Country Club and foursome of Golf at Linwood Country Club; fourth prize, $1,000 AMEX gift card; fifth prize, dining gift cards valued at $600.

    Registration is $400 per golfer or $1,600 per foursome. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Register at https://thearcatlantic.org/golf/.

    A pro-am raffle drawing will also be held at 4 p.m. Tickets are $100 each and only 300 tickets will be sold. Winner need not be present to win. Must be 18 years of age to purchase a raffle ticket.
