Margate Public Library

The Margate Public Library continues its Summer Music Series with its final event 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18. Mark O’Kain and Jeffrey Uhlig will present classics to Ragtime with mallet percussion and piano.

The concert will be presented at the Bloom Pavilion behind the library. Doors open at 6:15. Admission is free but seating is limited.

The Penn’s Woods Puppet Theater will present “Rumpelstiltskin” in two performances Wednesday, Aug. 18. The program will be offered in the library park at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. It is a rain or shine event.

Children’s evening programs include Law Day with the Margate City Police Department 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11. Meet police officers in the library parking lot.

Jungle John’s Reptile Show, including live animals will be presented in the park 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25 weather permitting.
