The Old Coots at the Ventnor City Farmers Market meet Friday mornings throughout summer.

The “Old Coots and Company Giving Advice” team, from the Ventnor City Farmers Market will be taking its show on the road to Atlantic City, Sunday, Aug. 22. The Old Coots, who have given free advice to anyone seeking it during the Friday morning Farmers Market at St. James Church, is joining the 48 Blocks AC and Live Well AC Farmers Market being held at the Absecon Lighthouse in Atlantic City.

Sunday’s Atlantic City events include:

  • 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Live Well AC Farmers’ Market
  • 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – 48 Blocks AC 2021, featuring art exhibitions, demonstrations, workshop and performances by various artists. Go to abseconlighthouse.org for more details

From 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. the Coots and Cootesses will be delivering advice on issues such as relationships, finances, pesky neighbors or suggestions about improving your technology skills, beach wardrobe, canasta strategies, best place to get pizza, etc.. Remember, it may not be the best advice….but it’s free.

The Absecon Lighthouse is located at 31 S. Rhode Island Ave. in Atlantic City.
