Auditions for one-act plays will be held Sept. 25 and Sept. 29 at the Margate Library.

MARGATE – South Jersey Players, Inc., which meets at the Margate Public Library, will hold auditions for actors to perform original one-act plays. Auditions will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25 and 4-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29 in the library conference room, 8100 Atlantic Ave.

Roles available include a mommy for “The Lady in the Moon,” by Tom Chin; a 60-year-old male renter for “Trouble in O.C.,” By Edward Shakespeare; a distraught woman and man for “Getting Lucky,” by Heidi Mae; and an elementary school teacher and distraught mother of a third-grader for “The Right Bet,” by Sondra Mandel. Performance dates are Nov. 6-7 at 2 p.m. outdoors in the park next to the library.
