Have a job opening you want to promote or need help with training new employees? The Atlantic County Workforce Development Board can help.

Residents in need of employment assistance are not the only ones who can benefit from the Atlantic County Workforce Development Board. Employers can take advantage of the extensive employment and training services offered by the WDB.

“We continue to see a demand for workers as the public is anxious for life to return to normal,” WDB Executive Director Fran Kuhn said in a release. “We offer a number of services for employers that can help them find and train quality workers while maintaining their bottom line.”

The WDB will promote job openings to pre-screened candidates at no cost to the employer, match qualified candidates with employers, and provide a physical location for job interviews and job fair recruitment. Interested employers may call 609-358-3576 or email Samuel.Wear@dol.nj.gov.

The WDB can also help offset employer training costs by providing trained and certified candidates for interview and hire, providing up to 70% in wage reimbursement and up to 90% in training reimbursement. For more information about these services, call 609-485-0153 and ask for Michael Hull at ext. 4816 or hull_michael@aclink.org, or Erik DiTizio at ext. 4824 or Ditizio_erik@aclink.org.

“The goal of the Workforce Development Board is to meet the needs of both employers and job seekers,” Kuhn said. “We encourage them to learn more about us at www.learntrainworkac.com.”
