Coastal Flood Advisory, Oct. 9-10.

The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory in effect from 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 through 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10.

Expect up to a foot of inundation above ground level in low lying areas near the shoreline and tidal waterways.

Flooding is expected on the most vulnerable roads and motorists can expect partial or full road closures. Minor to moderate flooding is possible.

Do not leave your vehicle at a location that is prone to tidal flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters. The water may be deeper than you think it is. You will be putting yourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged, leading to costly repairs.

High Tides:

  • Saturday, 10:10 a.m. and 10:32 p.m.
  • Sunday, 11:02 a.m. and 11:28 p.m.
  • Back bay high tides are about an hour later.
