Ventnor City Spring Block Party 2019

VENTNOR – The city will be rocking from morning to evening this Saturday with two special events that offer something for everyone.

The city will host a Block Party & Beer Garden, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 on Ventnor Avenue from Troy Avenue to Portland Avenue.

The block party was cancelled twice last year, first in the spring and again in fall, but it’s back this year in celebration of everything Ventnor.

The event includes live music, food and crafts vendors and children’s activities. The main stage is at Troy Avenue.

Featured musicians include:

  • 10:30-11:30 a.m. – Ricky Stevens
  • Noon-1 p.m. – Bob Sterling Band
  • 2-5 p.m. – The Remedy

For your safety, masks are optional, observe social distancing and stay home if you are not feeling well, organizers recommend.

Also, on Saturday morning at 9 a.m., the Ventnor Education Foundation will hold its Color Run at the Ventnor Educational Community Complex parking lot, 400 N. Lafayette Ave.

Registration is $25, T-shirts available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Register online at Ventnor City Color Run on EventBright.
