Make your own mosaic at the upcoming Longport Public Library program.
LONGPORT – The borough’s public library is holding two hands-on activities this month that could add deliciousness and beauty to the holiday season.
First up is the Hop in the Kitchen cooling class being held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7 at Guild Hall at Church of the Redeemer, 20th and Atlantic avenues. During the class, participants will learn how to make tasty appetizers using butternut squash.
Then, at 2 p.m. on two consecutive Mondays, Dec. 13 and 20, participants will learn how to design and make a a colorful mosaic. Participants must attend both sessions and may bring their own tiles or metals to use in their mosaic.
Health protocols will be in effect during all programs.
