EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – MudGirls Studios, a non-profit organization that empowers disadvantaged women, is holding a holiday sale of its handmade ceramics 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sat., Dec. 4 at Reeds Organic Farm, 5075 Spruce Ave.

The sale will feature ornaments, mugs, dishes and holiday gifts made by women who are transitioning out of poverty on a pathway toward self-sufficiency. Proceeds will go toward funding the organization and its work.

MudGirls Studios is dedicated to providing opportunities in art and entrepreneurship to economically disadvantaged and at-risk women by providing training and skills to transition out of poverty and onto a pathway of self-sufficiency. Through the creation and sale of functional art and aesthetic utilitarian objects women will gain a source of long-term supplemental income.
