Atlantic County offers free pet adoptions on Christmas Day.
PLEASANTVILLE – If you don’t find everything you’re hoping for under your Christmas tree, consider visiting the Atlantic County Animal Shelter on Christmas Day, Saturday, Dec, 25, to meet the lovable dogs and cats available for immediate adoption.
All adoption fees – $110 for dogs and $85 for cats – will be waived that day. All adopted pets will receive mandatory sterilization, age-appropriate vaccinations, diagnostic testing, a microchip and free veterinary consultation.
The Atlantic County Animal Shelter, located at 240 Old Turnpike Road in Pleasantville, will be open to visitors by appointment on Dec. 25. Call 609-485-2345 to make an appointment or for more information.
