Longport Public Library
The Longport Public Library, 2305 Atlantic Ave., will be closed Friday and Saturday, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, 2022 in observance of New Year’s Day. But it will reopen with some interesting programs in the in January.
The Porch Store in the Longport Historical Society Museum next door to the library is selling 2022 calendars. Call the museum for more information at 609-823-1115.
Trivia Night
Bring a team for Trivia Night being held in Commission Chambers 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28. Each member of the winning team will receive a prize. Masks are required. Register in advance by calling the library at 609-487-7403.
Family Friendly Bingo
Enjoy a few rounds of Bingo, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4 in the gazebo behind Borough Hall or in Commission Chambers in the event of inclement weather. Register in advance by calling the library at 609-487-7403.
Yoga Classes
Limited spots are available for yoga classes being held 9:30 a.m. Dec. 30 and Jan. 6. A new winter session starts Thursday, Jan. 27 with classes being held in Borough Hall and on Zoom. Grab & Go Crafts

Adult Clay Craft Workshop
Experiment with clay in this Trivet Workshop being held in two sessions: 2 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 11 and 18. Must attend both workshops. Use stamps and rollers to create textures on soft clay to create amazing treasures. Health protocols in place. Registration currently available to Longport residents. Hop in the Kitchen Cooking Class
The next Hop in the Kitchen cooking session being held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11 at Guild Hall at the Church of the Redeemer includes making pan seared salmon cakes with arugula salad. Valentine’s Day Concert
