GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP – The students at the Kulanu School of Jewish Studies brought smiles to the residents at Seashore Gardens Living Center Jan. 17 with a special delivery for Tu B’Shevat, which is known as the Jewish Arbor Day.

The students decorated Tu B’shevat boxes and filled them with snacks for the residents.

The activity was part of Better Together, a program of the Board of Jewish Education of Atlantic & Cape May Counties. It connects residents with Jewish teens from the Kulanu School of Jewish Studies, with programs centering around Jewish values.

The residents were happy to receive gifts from their buddies along with the journals that they and the students use to communicate.
