MAYS LANDING – In celebration of Black History Month, Atlantic Cape Community College is hosting a free virtual event 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22 on one of the nation’s most famous Abolitionists.

Story teller Michelle Washington Willson will present “Harriet Tubman: Tales from the Cape,” about the life and times of Harriet Tubman, a conductor on the Underground Railroad who brought hundreds of enslaved people to freedom. Tubman was active in the Abolitionist movement in Cape May.
