MARGATE – The Milton & Betty Katz recognized Black History Month Thursday, Feb. 17 with a reception for the opening of an art exhibit featuring art as power.

The exhibit, which features the artworks of four locally renowned Black artists, will be on display and available for purchase in the JCC Goldberg Lobby and Nauy Hall through the month of April. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of artwork will benefit the Katz JCC.

The reception featured wine and live music by The Eddie Morgan Trio. Pastor Collins A. Days Sr. of the Second Baptist Church of Atlantic City was guest speaker.
