VENTNOR – Ventnor Special Events will be hosting the Downbeach community First Responder Mass 4 p.m. Saturday, April 30 at Holy Trinity Parish St. James Church, 6415 Atlantic Ave. at Newport Avenue.The public is invited to join their voices in prayer for the safety of the community’s dedicated first responders, who put their lives in harm’s way for the good of the community.
“The Exceptions” will play a special concert following Mass at St James Hall from 5-7 p.m.
The concert is free for first responders and their families. Donations accepted for admission, with proceeds benefiting the Police Benevolent Association and the Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
