MARGATE – The Margate Police Department will hold a Spring Car Seat Safety Check and community event, 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at Police Headquarters, 111 N. Decatur Ave. near the playground.Patrol Officers Flanigan and Rando, who are certified child safety seat installers, will be there to check currently installed seats and assist with installing new seats. There will be giveaways, crafts, refreshments and photos with the Easter Bunny for anyone who attends the event.
Anyone unable to attend who needs help installing a child safety seat or to check that it is properly installed, may call Officers Rando or Flanigan at the Police Department at 609-822-1151 to ask for assistance.
