Shredding events will be held in Downbeach towns, Saturday, April 23.

Downbeach communities are ready to help residents with their spring cleaning tasks. Two shredding events are planned to rid homeowners of unwanted personal documents in a safe and effective way on Saturday, April 23.

Ventnor City will hold its shredding event 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Newport Avenue and the beach. Residents can bring any paper items that need to be shredded. Pull up to the shred truck and items will be unloaded for you. There is no need to exit your vehicle.

For information about the Ventnor City event, contact Ventnor City Special Events Coordinator Donna Peterson at 609-823-7919.

Margate and Longport are partnering on their annual shredding event to be held 9 a.m. to noon at the Margate City Public Works Yard, 101 N. Benson Ave. Residents of both communities with proof of residency are eligible to have their documents shredded at the Shred-It truck.
