Hydrant flushing in Margate this week

MARGATE – The city’s Department of Public Works will be flushing fire hydrants 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Monday through Friday, April 4-8.

Residents could experience water discoloration during this time.

The department advises residents to run their cold water for 30 minutes or until the water runs clear. Should the water remain discolored after 30 minutes, notify the Public Works Department at 609-822-5038.
