Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office
MAYS LANDING – The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office is on scene at the Dollar General Store located on the 700-block of New Road in Absecon for the report of a police officer involved shooting.
According to law enforcement guidelines, the NJ Attorney General’s Office has been notified and members of Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit are on scene.
No officers have been injured. There are no other preliminary investigative results to report, including suspect information or related injuries.
Information will be forthcoming when it is released by the prosecutor.
