MARGATE – The Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center has announced its lineup for the 2022 Summer Series. The series will feature four evenings of entertainment, held at the JCC, 501 N. Jerome Ave., from July through August.

NY/NY Dueling Pianos kicks off the series 6 p.m. Thursday, July 7. This dynamic interactive show allows attendees to request songs, sing along and dance the night away. The comedy based dueling piano event features pianists that sing and play everything from Jimmy Buffet, Garth Brooks, Maroon 5, Billy Joel, Tom Petty, Jerry Lee Lewis, Disney, Bruno Mars, Elvis, Madonna, Ed Sheeran, Metallica and just about anything else.

An Evening with Pat McGann 7 p.m. Thursday, July 14 will provide comedic relief. McGann’s relatively short, but impressive resume, includes performances on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Montreal’s famed Just For Laughs Festival, Gilda’s LaughFest, The Great American Comedy Festival and the Nashville Comedy Fest.

Broadway at the Movies, 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4 Tony Award nominee Josh Young and his wife Emily Padgett will take guests on a whimsical musical journey. The night will feature songs from fan favorites such as “The Wizard of Oz,” “Hamilton,” “West Side Story,” “Les Miserables,” “Wicked” and many more.

The final event of the Milton & Betty Katz JCC’s 2022 Summer Series will be the Carole King Song Book Tribute 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18. Everyone is invited to enjoy a wonderful night of reliving yesteryear with Tapestry, the Tribute Band. During this evening the tribute band will recreate the sound and vibe of a 1970’s Carole King concert experience following her legendary album, Tapestry.
