MARGATE – The annual Memorial Day parade and service sponsored by the Margate Mothers Association steps off at 10 a.m. Monday, May 30. Line up begins at 9 a.m. at the Margate Municipal Building, 9001 Winchester Ave.
The lineup of marchers includes Margate Police Department, bagpiper Alex McKee, the Margate VFW Post 9311, Sea Cadet Color Guard, Atlantic City High School ROTC, public officials, youth athletic teams and clubs, and Margate mothers with their children on bicycles, wagons and strollers, followed by the Atlantic City High School Band and Margate Fire Department apparatus.
A service follows the parade at All Wars Memorial Park on the Parkway.
Spectators are encouraged to line the parade route wearing patriotic colors.
