VENTNOR – The North Beach Ventnor Residents Association, which boasts the tagline “Where your front porch meets the sea,” is planning its annual Porch Party, 7-10 p.m. Saturday Aug. 6 on S. Hillside Ave. between Ventnor and Atlantic avenues. To date, five property owners have committed their porches for the party, which includes live music. The event provides residents with the opportunity to enjoy each other and meet new friends.
Residents who live in the North Beach section of the city – Jackson to Victoria avenues and beach to bay – are invited to attend the potluck food and drink gathering. Register your offering at www.northbeachventnor.com, where a list of items is published. Residents are asked to deliver their offering to the appropriate porch – one for fruit and salads, two for entrees and one for desserts.
