The Atlantic County Division of Public Health continues to provide free COVID-19 vaccinations for both adults and children at clinics in Northfield and Hammonton.

Pediatric clinics for those 6 months to 18 years of age are available by appointment 1-3 p.m. every Thursday at 201 S. Shore Road in Northfield, and 10 a.m. to noon on the first Tuesday of each month at 310 Bellevue Ave. in Hammonton.

Adult clinics are available 9 a.m. to noon every Tuesday in Northfield without an appointment and the third Thursday of the month in Hammonton by appointment.

COVID-19 vaccinations for homebound residents are also available by appointment every other Wednesday, beginning Aug. 10.

All appointments can be made by calling 609-645-5933.

The Division of Public Health offers the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines for children and adults. It is also providing the new Novavax adjuvanted vaccine for adults 18 years and older, including those who are moderately or severely immunocompromised. The two-dose primary vaccine is a more traditional vaccine that has been used for decades to treat diseases such as hepatitis B, shingles and human papillomavirus. The vaccine presents a specific portion of the virus which the body generates immunity against. It is not yet available as a booster.
