LONGPORT – It’s going to be a BUOB (bring your own ball) for the Longport Police Department’s upcoming Basketball Clinic being held 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Longport Recreation Center located at 33rd and Atlantic avenues.
Ptl. Shaune Slattery, former captain of the LaSalle University Women’s Basketball Team, will be hosting the free basketball skills and drills clinic for basketballers aged 7-14.
Those interested in participating are asked to bring their own basketball and let the department know you are coming by emailing Slattery_shaune@longportpd.org.
