The Maccabeats will perform at Shirat Hayam in Ventnor, Aug. 11.

VENTNOR – Shirat Hayam will present a lively summer concert 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11 at the synagogue, 700 N. Swarthmore Ave.

The concert features The Maccabeats, a world renowned a capella group, with Rebecca Schoffer and her band as the opening act.

Schoffer offers an eclectic mix of songs from the funky to the folksy, bluegrass and rock.

The Maccabeats have a large fanbase with more than 20 million YouTube views, TV appearances and have recorded four albums. They play to sold-out audiences at JCCs, synagogues, festivals and community theaters around the world.

An ice cream sundae bar will be available after the performances.

Tickets are $50 general admission, $136 reserved seating. The event is free for children under 12 accompanied by an adult.
