MAYS LANDING – Applications for 2023 state arts and history grants are now available through the Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, which regranted more than $218,000 to successful local non-profit applicants in 2022 for projects that promote art or history and provide public benefit and accessibility.

To help organizations develop and enhance their funding proposals, two free grant workshops will be offered.

The Aug. 31 workshop will focus on arts applications and the Sept. 7 workshop will focus on history proposals. The workshops will share some similarities so if someone is unable to attend the workshop specific to their interest, they are welcome to attend the other.

Both workshops will be held at 6 p.m. at the Atlantic County Library, 40 Farragut Ave., Mays Landing. Registration is required for each and is available at www.atlantic-county.org/cultural-affairs where the grant applications can also be found.

Grant funding is provided through New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the New Jersey Historical Commission. Deadline for submission of all grant applications is Oct. 14, 2022.
