ATLANTIC CITY – The Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce, Meet AC and David Schultz Airshows will present the 2022 Meet AC Airshow, the world’s premier free midweek beachfront airshow, starting at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24.

This year’s star studded airshow lineup includes the return of major military acts, including U.S. Army Golden Knights , U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the long-awaited reappearance of the U.S. Navy’s F/A-18 Super Hornet “Rhino” East Coast Demo Team. Other civilian acts include Chris Thomas Airshows , Paul Dougherty Airshows , Full Throttle Formation Team and Jim Beasley.

“This year’s line-up of performers is second to none,” Greater Atlantic City Chamber President Michael Chait said in a release. “You have both military and civilian acts that are among the best in the country soaring to our beaches right here in the Garden State – we promise that this will be our best show to date.”

Practice day is set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23 beginning at 11 a.m.

Commentary for the show will be aired on WPG Talk Radio 95.5 FM and 1450 AM on Wednesday only.

The airshow also features the return of Veterans Resource Row presented by Bank of America 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the Boardwalk at Missouri Avenue. More than a dozen veteran resource organizations and entities will be providing information on services, support and job opportunities

  • Wear light clothing in the hot weather.
  • Bring snacks and water to stay refreshed.
  • Bring sunglasses for optimal sight of the show.
  • Cameras and binoculars are a great way to capture the action.
  • Beach accessories, chairs, umbrellas, hats and bathing suits are welcomed on the beach.
  • Bring a portable radio and tune it to WPG Talk Radio 95.5 FM and 1450 AM to hear all of the commentary for the show.
