MudGirls Studios in Atlantic City

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP – MudGirls Studios will be hosting its first ever fundraising celebration Friday, Sept. 23 at Stockton University’s Campus Theater. MudGirls Studios is celebrating more than five years of transforming lives through ceramic art made in its Atlantic City studio.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a reception where guests can meet the artists, mingle, and view one of a kind MudGirls artwork. Following the reception at 6:30 p.m. guests will have the chance to view the newly launched documentary. “Fired Up: The Story of MudGirls Studios,” produced by ArtC Films and Glasstown Productions.

All proceeds will support studio operations, the purchase of clayworks materials, and expansion of the MudGirls workforce.

Tickets are $75 for the reception and film screening, $20 for the film screening only. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.

MudGirls Studios is a non-profit organization that empowers disadvantaged women through training and employment. MudGirls Studios helps women transition onto a pathway towards self-sufficiency and out of poverty using clay as the vehicle to change lives through the creation and sales of functional art and aesthetic utilitarian objects. The women gain a source of long-term supplemental income along the way.
