LONGPORT – Submissions are being accepted for the borough’s annual Beach Tag Design Contest.

The deadline to have your child’s artwork considered for the 2023 beach tag is Dec. 30. Two submission will be selected for the seasonal and senior tags.
The contest is open to Longport children and grandchildren ages 5-10 years old.

Last year’s winners were Luna Catanese who designed the seasonal tag and Ella Clark who designed the senior tag.

Parents and grandparents can download the contest form and template on the borough website https://www.longportnj.gov/notices/2023-beach-badge-contest-form.pdf

The design must fit in the 4-inch square provided in the contest form. Use two or three bright colors and include the word Longport in the design. Consider noting that 2023 is the borough’s 125th anniversary year on the design.

The form and the artwork can be submitted to Beach Badge Design Contest, 2305 Atlantic Ave., Longport, NJ 08403 or emailed to clerk@longport-nj.us.
