The Longport Public Library will be hosting several events of interest to the residents of Longport Borough over the next several weeks.

At 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 the library will be screening the movie, “Where the Crawdads Sing.” The matinee includes a serving of popcorn.

At 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, Stir It Up Catering of Northfield will be offering a cooking demonstration at Guild Hall at the Church of the Redeemer on Atlantic Avenue. Please park on Atlantic Avenue.

Adult crafters can try their hand at wineglass painting 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14. And then, at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21 they can try making a felted pumpkin.

Jazz singer Gina Roche will entertain 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18 as part of the library’s Fall Concert Series.

Several rounds of trivia will be on tap 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 in Longport Commission Chambers at Borough Hall.

The borough will hold its annual tree and menorah lighting in the gazebo behind Borough Hall 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, followed by a concert in Commission Chambers. Refreshments will be served.

And at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 18, enjoy a holiday concert with the Cape Shopre Chorale at the Church of the Redeemer.
