ATLANTIC CITY – Vocalist Deana Martin, daughter of iconic entertainer and the “King of Cool” Dean Martin, will star in a fundraising concert to benefit the ongoing restoration of Lucy the Elephant.

Martin will be appearing with an 18-piece orchestra and special guest Steven Maglio, 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11 at Resorts Superstar Theatre.

Martin, who has performed to sell-out crowds around the world, singing songs from the Great American Songbook.

A Frank Sinatra “tributeer,” Maglio, performs in the longest running nightclub show in New York City, now in its 15th year at the famed Carnegie Club on West 56th Street.

The Superstar Theatre is Atlantic City’s first casino era showroom and the place where Dean Martin joined his “pallie” Frank Sinatra back in the 1980s. Atlantic City has a long and famed history with the Rat Pack singers starting with the days of the famed 500 Club where Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis formed their comedy team.

“We are beyond thrilled that Deana is sharing her extraordinary talent and famous family history with us,” Save Lucy Committee Executive Director Richard Helfant said in a release. “And having the fundraiser in Resorts Superstar Theatre is a dream come true.”

Helfant was a junior executive at Resorts back in the early 1980s and worked closely with Sinatra and Martin.

“We are extremely grateful to Mark Giannantonio, president of Resorts Casino Hotel, for his continued support of Lucy,” Helfant said.

The evening promises to be filled with some the greatest music ever written, along with some holiday favorites.

VIP tickets are $125 and include a dessert reception and a meet and greet with Martin after the show. Preferred seating is $50 and general admission tickets are $35. Tickets can be purchased at www.LucyTheElephant.org, Lucy’s Gift Shop, Resorts Box Office or www.Ticketmaster.com.

Proceeds from the event will go toward Lucy the Elephant’s ongoing restoration. Lucy the Elephant is a National Historic Landmark and America’s Oldest Roadside Attraction
