GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP – Stockton University will host the 6th Cannabis Career Fair and Business Expo in partnership with the New Jersey CannaBusiness Association 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1 at the Campus Center Event Room.

Cannabis-related businesses will set up in the Campus Center Event Room and keynote speakers will discuss the science of cannabis, the business of cannabis, as well as resources, sustainability, employment, and municipal issues.

“As an institution of higher education, Stockton University has been at the forefront of preparing our students to enter this new industry,” said Ekaterina Sedia, professor of biology and coordinator of the Minor in Cannabis Studies program at Stockton. “It is our responsibility as educators to ensure that our students have a wide knowledge base to prepare them for the ever changing world, but also to give them enough skills to take advantage of novel employment opportunities.”

Stockton University offers an interdisciplinary minor in Cannabis Studies that gives students a foundation for understanding the burgeoning cannabis industry. An online Cannabis Studies Certificate gives those interested in the industry the fundamental skills they need to be successful. Stockton’s Cannabis & Hemp Initiative will research hemp cultivation and develop lab testing.

Tickets are free for college students and $25 for the general public. To register, see https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2022-november-career-fair-tickets-428532932537
