Provided/OceanFirst Foundation Executive Director Katherine Durante presents a $12,500 check to Jewish Family Service Chief Executive Officer Andrea Steinberg to support The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore, a program that provides an array of services, programs, and socialization for older adults in the community.

MARGATE – OceanFirst Foundation continued its support of Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties by presenting a $12,500 grant to benefit The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore. This program provides an array of concierge, professional and volunteer services, and socialization for residents age 50+.

“We are grateful to OceanFirst Foundation who have been a committed supporter of The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore for many years,” JFS CEO Andrea Steinberg said in a release.

Since the foundation’s inception in 1996, OceanFirst has provided JFS with more than $80,000 to fund older adult program, food pantry, events, and grants. In addition, Ocean First staff regularly volunteer at the agency to stock pantry shelves, bag groceries and more.

With nearly 200 members, including 25 Holocaust survivors in the region, the Village provides programs and services including care coordination, transportation, intergenerational events, grocery shopping and delivery, and friendly phone check-ins for older adults in the area.

“OceanFirst Foundation is proud to support programs like The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore, which connects our neighbors to programs and resources that enhance the quality of life for seniors and help so many maintain an independent lifestyle,” Foundation Executive Director Katherine Durante said.
