Longport will be celebrating the holidays at several community events hosted by the Longport Public Library.
The festivities start 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6 with a Holiday Gathering at Guild Hall at the Church of the Redeemer. Essl’s Dugout will provide the food and a string quartet will play the music. Residents can signup now. Residents of other communities can register beginning Nov. 21.
All are invited to the borough’s Tree and Menorah Lighting being held at the gazebo behind Borough Hall. Enjoy light refreshments afterward in Commission Chambers.
Cape Shore Chorale will present a Holiday Concert 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18 at Church of the Redeemer. The concert will be followed by a cookie and coffee reception in Guild Hall.
