Cleanup on Wellington Avenue Sat. Dec. 10.
VENTNOR – The Surfrider Foundation South Jersey has scheduled a community cleanup along the Wellington Avenue bayfront area 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10.
Cleaning supplies will be provided, but participants should bring:
- reusable gloves (e.g. garden gloves, especially rubber tipped, are a great choice),
- reusable water bottle
- sunscreen
- a small backpack to carry your reusable bottle and personal items and to keep both hands free to record cleanup data with your clipboard/pencil, hold your trash bag and trash grabber, etc.
Meet in the parking lot of Ventnor Plaza. Dress appropriately for the weather. Wear closed-toed shoes or rubber rain boots. Participants must sign a waiver in Golden during registration, which will speed up onsite registration.
If you feel sick or someone in your circle feels sick, please stay home.
There is no rain date. The event will be cancelled if there is extreme weather. Golden will send out an email update in the event of cancellation.
