VENTNOR – Annual dog licenses for canines in Ventnor are now due for 2023. Licenses can be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 6201 Atlantic Ave. Application forms are available on the city’s website, ventnorcity.org.
The cost of the annual license is $15 for non-neutered animals and $10 for neutered animals. Residents are required to register their animals each year by Jan. 31. Beginning March 1, a late fee of $25 will be applied to all renewals. Proof of rabies vaccination is required.
To assist with obtaining a rabies vaccine at no cost, the city will hold a free rabies clinic will 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 25 at Ventnor Firehouse No. 1 on New Haven Avenue.
Dog licenses can also be renewed at this clinic.
